I’ve tried my best to include questions that relate to both Common Core Standards and PLO’s.
The biggest difference between my units and the PLO’s is that some of the questions in my units extend beyond the required knowledge of the grade-level PLO’s (for example, the units spiral in difficulty so that towards the end of the year, for required place value knowledge, the questions go up to 1, 000, 000 rather than 10, 000). Hope this helps!

Depending on how much time you want to spend on each genre, I'd say it would be closer to 3 or 4 weeks (also depending of course on your class schedule). I teach it by introducing genres, non-fiction/fiction and story elements (about 4 class periods), then spend 2 or 3 class periods on each genre and then finish up with a review and quiz.

Throughout my Daily Math series I tried my best to keep holidays out of the units as much as possible, as I do want them to be accessible for all students. In the Winter unit there are two instances of word problems that mention holiday parties and presents, but for the most part they are holiday free and I try and focus on the seasons. If you do purchase the units and find that some word problems will not work for you because they mention holidays, just email me at lovetolearn2012@gmail.com and I would be happy to change out those few word problems and email you a revised PDF. I just purchased the Daily Math Winter packet. I am able to download, but not print. The tech at my school says it may be that you have secured it as a pdf, however, there is a box when you secure it as a pdf that puts it as password protected. If it is password protected, any buyers would need that password to be able to print it.

Love your cards, however, oneof my students noticed number 23 did not have the "0" mentioned to put in the hundreds and tens place. ( I am guessing at the place value as I do not have the cards in front of me at the moment). I had already laminated them, so I just used a Sharpie to write in what was missing! Thank you!

I checked the card and I noticed that I had listed the places in which there was a "0" rather than repeating the "0" three times ("The mystery number has a 0 in the ones place, the tens place, and the hundreds place and a 5 in the thousands place.") Hello... I love these mystery number cards. We are learning how to solve these in my classroom right now. We start with 2 digit numbers first, then move up to 3 digit. Would it be possible for you to make some with 2 digit mystery numbers, please? I would really appreciate your time.

I don't want to leave you negative feedback. My one comment as opposed to a question is this. You should have noted somewhere in your description that there were repeated pages of items with just the grade level changed.
