Is there anyway you could send them to me by email. I have a mac book and I don't know if that is the problem. I do have activision on my computer for my promethian board. Wow! I'm sorry I didn't see this until now! If you still care: I make many, many copies of the worksheet and cut in half. The papers are kept in a drawer where all the kids can get it in the morning. I have an ActivBoard flipchart page that mimics the worksheet.
Each day, I fill in the 'word of the day,' and the 'nutty number.' I use very random words and numbers. As the year progresses the number will become a decimal, a fraction, or a mixed number depending on what we are working on. The students write the number 3 ways - usually word form, expanded form, standard form. Some students get creative and draw pictures. Some will come up with math problems that equal the number of the day (15-3=12 6+6=12 etc.)
For the word of the day, I'll write a word like APPLE on the board. Students have to come up with two questions whose answers are APPLE. For example, "What fruit did the wicked Queen poison Snow White with?"
I have a book of puzzles (like this one: http://www.barnesandnoble.com/w/brain-twisting-visual-word-puzzles-for-kids-susan-caplan-mccarthy/1028944298?ean=2940012541048) for the brain teaser; I just write it on the board.
For the 24, I use a bit of sticky tack and stick a new card to the board every day.
It takes less than 5 minutes to set up a new board each day. When I'm really on top of things, I'll get it all ready before I leave at night. Usually I just switch it up as the kids are coming in.
