I started teaching in 1997 but took some time off to stay home with my two precious boys. I returned to work in 2009 and became certified in ESE. I have worked with elementary students as well as young adults and have sincerely loved working with all of my amazing students! I really enjoy working with grades K-5 but must admit my passion lies with my little guys. Update: I was to start the year still in 1st grade but am now the new Aspergers teacher. I love teaching social skills and am really enjoying working with my amazing kiddos! :-)
I try to make lessons fun for my kiddos! I find out what interests them and I go from there. I'm a big fan of sports and I love animals (especially turtles, dogs and dolphins) so I try to incorporate those themes into my classroom as well :-) The best thing ever is seeing the kids progress throughout the year and the HUGE smiles on their faces makes it all worth it!! I try to create simple but fun activities/lessons for my students. I love heading to the Dollar Store to see the new items they have! Most recently I purchased a large plastic toothbrush and a HUGE flyswatter. We are having a blast with these items... LOL

Proud mommy of two beautiful boys! I have two great dogs and a cool turtle named Marlin :-) My boys are very involved with baseball and I love being team mom! I am a huge fan of the Miami Dolphins and of college football :-) I am thrilled about being able to share activities with other teachers and love being able to purchase awesome activities as well!! Happy Teaching!
