I saw your store on the home page of Teachers Pay Teachers; so, I thought I would look at your freebie. I left you a rating. Well done!

I have a couple of suggestions that might help you to better market this product. First, add a second page which is a directions or suggestions page. List several ways you use this product in your classroom. Never assume that a buyer knows how, why, or when to use your product. Take the time to number your pages, and to put the copyright symbol with your name and date of creation in the footer. You might want to add something like the following to the cover page or at the end of your product. You can edit it however you want. If you read the Sellers Forum, we have some unscrupulous people who are downlaoding freebies without permission.

The original purchaser of this document is granted permission to copy for teaching purposes only. If you are NOT the original purchaser, please download the item from my store before making any copies. Redistributing, editing, selling, or posting this item or any part thereof on the Internet are strictly prohibited without first gaining permission from the author. I’d appreciate your input and rating on one of my freebies listed below.

I made them to be used in conjunction with any manipulatives you may already have :) I thought about making templates for manipulatives you could cut out and bag as kits for students, but this would be very time consuming. If this is something you would like to see included with this journal, let me know. I am using the same journals in my classroom, but have lots of manipulatives to use with them. Thank you for your question!

I bought one of your math journals. I shared it with my grade level which is 4 other teachers. They had decided that it is something we would like to use and are will to pay for their classroom use my question is how can I pay you for their copies they do not have a TPT Account and I want to make sure you get what you deserve for its use in 4 other classrooms. Do i just put the journal in my cart 4 times or do you have a paypal donations button.

Thank you for your honesty and obvious integrity. I am happy you will be able to use the journals. Since I do not have the donate option, you can put however many of each in your cart and pay for it that way. I know that way is a pain...I can,t remember if u have an option for the qty of each. In any case, thank you for using them! I would love to know how it works for you. http://maggieskindercorner.blogspot.com

I plan to match them to the sequence I will be teaching them in. Each journal is made to address all skills under the main standard. Each district has their own map, so I recommend ordering the pagesto go with your sequence. You can mix the pages differently since they are not numbered in any sequential order. I knew we would teach them in different order--each district has its own. I hope that makes sense. :) fire off another ? If u need to :) Maggie

Yes...answers perfectly...& I "mispoke" in my question, I WAS asking about the calendar journals....you answered it correctly w/o me ASKING correctly! i'm thinking about the math journals as well, tho. I want to switch to CCSS even tho we haven't been asked to yet. Our math series is Saxon. Do you use that by any chance? Thanks for your help!

The math journals are meant to last through all of the activities you teach with numerals and counting 0-10, 11-20, etc. Mine will last more than a month because we will be using it to reinforce learning in our math series with a focus on CCSS for math. I will be doing one for geometry, measurement, graphing and data management, and math practices--the general area on CCSS. I actually should have made the numeral practice journal first! I will be putting it on TpT as a free download this weekend or next week. What I am trying to say is my journals are more thematic, rather than monthly. These journals will be 2.99, but the monthly calendar math journals on my tpt site are .99, and yes, I will be posting them to go through June. I hope that answers your question. The theme related to CCSS journals will be spread out through the whole year as a revisiting concepts tool, so they can be used at any time. Thanks for asking about them!
Maggie :)
