This was a great lesson! It's exactly what I needed to teach the spanish accent rules. I also downloaded your silaba tonica one. Thank you for your hard work--this saves me so much time in preparing my lessons for my 4th grade writing class.

Well written worksheet, but I'll use this as a pairs review, not a test. For an actual test, I believe it's more important that the kids put the accents where they belong, rather than categorize the words and intellectualize the difference between 'que' and 'qué.'

Sí, en mi experiencia, es más fácil empezar con las palabras esdrújulas. Como siempre llevan tilde, los alumnos normalmente creen que es más fácil identificarlas y aprender la regla de siempre poner tilde. Luego presento las llanas y después las agudas.
