TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I have been teaching for 16 years. I have taught in both private and public schools. I currently teach fifth grade at a Title I school in Michigan. My passions are in great children's literature and social studies topics (history, government, geography, culture, community involvement).

I attended Calvin College, a private liberal arts college in Grand Rapids, Michigan for my undergraduate degree in Education with a Social Studies major. My masters degree is in Curriculum and Teaching from Michigan State University.
