I think these questions are very creative - kudos! It might be nice to include an answer sheet, though, to be sure we generate the same diagrams and answers! Also, on question number 3, did you mean (The line from home plate to the pitcher's mound MAKES a 90 degree angle with the line from first base to the pitcher's mound.) ?

The line from home plate to the pitcher's mound BISECTS the 90 degree angle (that the first base line makes with the third base line).
I hope this helps. My students always enjoyed these problems.

It's great to find other hs math teachers on TpT! Your sine activity looks great too! You could create a series of similar items for the cosine and tangent functions as well. In calc I like to refer students back to these three when working with the reciprocal functions.
It also help students prepare for transformations of trig functions if they have an opportunity to review transformations of other, maybe more familiar functions first.
I've added your activity to my wishlist - looking forward to checking it out further!

Thank you. I feel the same way. I do the cosine and tangent function also, but it is not in publishable form. I am a big fan of using transformations for graphing. My own daughter was absolutely amazed when I showed her how to do this.

TEACHING EXPERIENCE
5 years of teaching math in high school, and then 20 years of teaching math in college (College Algebra, Trigonometry, PreCalculus, and Business Calculus, as well as some high school review)
MY TEACHING STYLE
My teaching style reflects my philosopy that students should understand what they do and not just do it mechanically or without thought. As much as possible, they should see a use for what they are learning. This has been the motivation behind a lot of the work I have created through the years
HONORS/AWARDS/SHINING TEACHER MOMENT
Shining moments are the times that students have stopped me in a parking lot or shopping center several years later to tell me I was responsible for them graduating from college with their chosen degree (when I only had them in one math class). Or the surprised open-mouth look on the face of a student who suddenly figures out just what to do after thinking for a considerable time.
