Marti Dryk, PhD has degrees from SMU, North Texas State University, and Texas Women’s University. She has done post-doctoral work at Texas State University and Centro Bilingue San Miguel de Allende, Mexico. Having been actively involved in education since 1968, she has worked in public and private schools and as an educational consultant on a national basis. Dr. Dryk’s specialty is reading, but is well versed in the writing process, gifted and talented, bilingual, and at risk students. She also has unique and successful methodologies for employing reading skills in the content areas. She taught this course at the University of Texas. Among her other credentials she holds a superintendent certification, has been a teacher, principal, and Director of Curriculum, served on several state and national committees, and has worked with schools in crisis. She has authored a CD (Hit the Bulls Eye) with 250 lessons in English and Spanish in the area of K-12 reading called Hit the Bullseye. She is a nationwide presenter.
