Relates well with what I plan to do with Speak, but I wish you would have included some rubrics and not just a list of ideas. A lot of them are pretty basic, though, so it wouldn't be hard to come up with the rubrics myself.

Hdoughty, when will you be using these? I have them on my computer at school and am out on maternity leave unitl May 7th. I will be more than happy yo send them to you- when are you planning on using them? I need to add them to the product when my patrons make the original purchase- and making that change has slipped my mind. I have sent the files by email to those who have made the purchase in the past...but I need to make the change. I am so sorry! Just let me know when you need the keys and poems? I just purchased your "Seven Poems State Test Type of questions Review Exam" and am wondering if you would please send me a list of the poem titles and authors. I have been trying to find the poems on line as you suggested and have found several poems that have the same titles and don't know which one to use. Also, do you have an answer key for these questions that you would be willing to provide? I am willing to pay for it, but I am purchasing this to save some time and if I have to take the tests then I will not have saved much time. The questions look great and I think they will work wonderfully for my students. Thanks so much!

Sabrina, I did not provide an answer key. It will be this summer before I will have time to get it online. It took me several hours to create the questions and answer choices to look like "EOC type" questions. I hope you do see the time this aspect saved you. Sorry for not also providing an answer key- that is something I may add later and up the price. If you provide your email address to me, I will gladly send you the actual poems (so you do not have to look them up and print them out). Take care, Mary Beth

Authors' name would be very helpful. If possible you could just mail me the poems. Hi Jackie! When I posted this I should have put the author names! I am so sorry for the extra work this has caused you! I know why the Caged bird Sings is Maya Angelou and Sympathy is by Paul Lawrence Dunbar. Margret Atwood wrote the poem "Memory." I am currently on Easter break and do not have my teaching materials with me at home this week, but I will be back to school next Thursday, April 28th. I can scan in these poems as PDF files and email them to you. Is this enough turn around time? If not, you can try poets.org which allows a search for authors/keyword/poem title. I just checked this website and "Sympathy" is on there as well. On the grasshopper and the Cricket is by John Keats...and The 7 Ages of Man is Shakespeare as well as Sonnet 30.Blackberry Eating is by Galway Kinnell. Let me know which you would prefer. Again, I am sorry for the confusion. When I get back to school, I will update this item's listing. Have a nice weekend!

TEACHING EXPERIENCE
I have taught 9th and 10th grade Standard and Honors English courses for 11 years. I also teach a junior and senior level course (Teacher Cadets) which is for students interested in the teaching profession. I have also taught Expository Writing at a local community college part-time and at my county's local Alternative Learning Program for 8 years in the evenings. Additionally, I work with OCS students online through my state's virtual public high school.
