This was the final exam for every semester that I taught Latin Amrican Humanities. It was definitely an eye opener for the Latinos as well as the gringos in my class. It's a great video!

The stereotyping activity was always part of my first day of teaching Latin American Humaities classes which were a mixture of Latino and American stuents. It was always interesting to see how each group felt about the other. Then they realized that the same characterisics apply to people of all ethnic groups, even their own.

I did NOT assume that my only audience would be native speakers of Spanish. Instructions are often given in English to make sure that students understand what they are supposed to do with an activity. I'm sorry that it did not meet your expectations.

If you are teaching something related to the Gettysburg Address, I would assume that it is in an American history class. Question #1 asks students to calclulate a date back 87 years. They should be able to recognize 1776 as the Declaration of Inependence after the Ameican Rev. in 1775. The words in the first paragraph of his speech were taken directly from the Declaration of Independence, another documen with which Am. Hist. students should be familiar. Following through on that idea, they should also be able to reason that the new nation was the original 13 colonies. If they are studying the Civil War and the battles, they must have heard that Gettysburg was he bloodiest of all and
the turning point of the war (Q #5). Since the war is still going on in 1863 and the North and South have NOT been re-united, they should be able to rerason that the "unfinished" work is the reunification of N and S. This is a wrting with many inferences that just aren't spelled out word for word. Students are often asked to relate to other material hat is NOT spelled out in their readings. If you are teaching something related to the Gettysburg Address, I would assume that it is in an American history class. Question #1 asks students to calclulate a date back 87 years. They should be able to recognize 1776 as the Declaration of Inependence after the Ameican Rev. in 1775. The words in the first paragraph of his speech were taken directly from the Declaration of Independence, another documen with which Am. Hist. students should be familiar. Following through on that idea, they should also be able to reason that the new nation was the original 13 colonies. If they are studying the Civil War and the battles, they must have heard that Gettysburg was he bloodiest of all and
the turning point of the war (Q #5). Since the war is still going on in 1863 and the North and South have NOT been re-united, they should be able to rerason that the "unfinished" work is the reunification of N and S. This is a wrting with many inferences that just aren't spelled out word for word. Students are often asked to relate to other material hat is NOT spelled out in their readings. This just happen to be one of them.

Hello, I would recommend that you make it clearer when you have duplicate content available for purchase. "Spanish Subjunctive Made Easy and Fun" is actually also already included in "Everything About the Spanish Subjunctive." This was my first time ever purchasing from this site; I bought both and was disappointed to see that I purchased some of the same content twice. It makes me hesitant to buy multiples from the same topic from an author in the future. Other than that complaint, I very much appreciate you sharing your hard work. This is my first time teaching the subjunctive and it is wonderful to have some resources.

The two Youtube videos are dated Aug, 2009. The duo presenting them have a number of different videos so you may want to check them out. The Gold Museum is awesome. I'm surprised that they got to video tape the magnificent exhibits inside because they don't allow cameras and you have to check your bags at the door. I hope your students enjoy this study. I spent 5 yrs. going back and forth working as a teacher trainer in ESL and SSL (Spanish) with UCR and UN. Thanks for purchasing my product. I hope you will find others just as enjoyable.

With the Subjunctive Made Easy and Fun, the students were able to easily pick up the process for initially identifying the subjunctive usage.
In the Negative Antecedents, you have "no hay duda que" as subjunctive. If there isn't any doubt, that antecedent would be indicative for me.
