I would have liked some math pages that review multiplication facts as well as subtraction and addition. The children really like doing the activities. I am glad I discovered this site!

I was disappointed that there was no mention of Chinese New Year.

I have used the Ready Set units since last October. The children I teach as classified as mentally retarded. They are achieving above what one would expect because they are familiar with the format of the worksheets and they love doing them. What a help to have these available to give the children extra practice in an enjoyable way!

The March worksheets focused on the themes of spring, St. Patrick's day, important days in history (invention of the telephone by Alexander Graham Bell, and the founding of the Girl Scouts) and windy weather. There was nothing about daylight savings time, and Spring this year begins on March 20, not the 21. I needed to modify the directions on the calendar activity, page 4. I like the format and variety of activities. I use the worksheets as reinforcement homework. The children in my SDC-LF class are very good at returning all the homework and they like all the opportunities for doing art, because it has been eliminated as an elective by our school district.

There isn't anything out there like this, just what I was looking for. Thank you, very useful.

Thanksgiving is not always the last Thursday of the month, as this year proves. President Franklin D. Roosevelt designated the fourth Thursday of the month as Thanksgiving Day. I had to fix several of the pages of this set because of this inaccuracy--especially the calendar directions! I like the style and variety of activities in the set. I am interested in getting the sets for the rest of the months this school year.

The children really liked doing these activities. I will certainly use this author's sets for other months.
