Thankyou Mary, As a busy teacher I don't have time to figure out how to do these (and I am at a very small school with no admin support) and I have just adapted yours such that I can show my data for spelling, sight words and reading. Comprehension Connection (TpT Seller)
Having the spreadsheet set up is nice, and I think I can figure out how to print the charts as you show. I think for the price though, it'd be nice to receive better directions. Formatting a spreadsheet isn't that hard, but I think it'd be more helpful and useful to be able to convert this form to other data types such as Fountas and Pinnell levels or Word Study data. I will be able to use this with modification for the data I need to collect. Thanks.

What age group/ability is this set for? I teach special needs K- 3. They are still learning BASIC sentences such as word placement, capital letters, and punctuation. Would this be appropriate?

The book does not have any grade level or ability on it. I would use this book for older students who are till struggling in writing. It does start with basic skills but the content and vocabulary is geared toward older students. It could be used for third graders who are reading well, but I think it would be better used for 4th and 5th graders, or even middle schoolers that are struggling writers.

TEACHING EXPERIENCE
I have taught special education in North Carolina Schools for 8 years. I have worked with students K-3 with a wide variety of disabilities. I have had a lot of experience teaching children with learning disabilities, severe disabilities, and autism. I am now staying home with my two young children full-time.
MY TEACHING STYLE
I have taught students using a variety of different methods and programs. Many of my students required individual centers and workstations. I also have used Wilson Fundations Reading program with many of my struggling readers. I enjoy doing small group and one on one instruction with my students and looking for whatever styles of teaching or methods to help them learn.

I had the honor of being the lead teacher at my school for 2 years.

I have a bachelors degree in special education from the Western Carolina University in North Carolina.

I love creating and designing anything on the computer! I make things for my children all the time, and also love making spreadsheets and ways to organize and keep track of data and growth for students!
