(I started a 2/3 combo 9 days into the school year and jumped into 3rd grade with The Ballad of Mulan!) I should have the theme uploaded within the next week or so!

Yes, it can be given at the end of the second trimester. You can also check the standards that are covered to see if they are covered during your second trimester instructional block. (Depending upon your District's pacing, it might be a better fit for the first or third trimester.)

For the folder labels--White Avery Mailing Labels 2" x 4" 10 labels per page. The number is 5163--but the number may vary. Look for the 2" x 4" labels with 10 per page.
For the 30 labels, I used the Avery White Address Labels 1" x 2 5/8" 30 labels per page. The number is 8860--but again the number may vary. Look for the correct size of labels on the box.
Before printing, print the labels on a blank sheet of paper and then make any adjustments to the formatting before printing the labels out.

The Language Checks are great for review for students who need extra support/review on skills taught the previous year. Give me a couple of days to put together a 3rd grade alignment sheet for California standards. It will give you (and me) and better idea of how the 2nd/3rd grade standards align.

Hello, I purchased the Synonyms Task Cards Bundle :96 Multiple Choice Cards for gardes 2-3. I made a mistake and also purchased them separately. I paid for the bundle and the sets separately. Would you be able to look my account purchasing history and see that I did double pay and refund me for the individual purchases for each separate set. My records shows I paid $4.80 for the Bundle and $2.00 for each separate set? I appreciate your help with this issue.

HI Mary,
I purchased all of your "Daily Language Checks" recently and began using them this week. I really like them but the first day I used one of them (Daily Language Check #31), I found five typo errors on that page. Question #2 says "tasks" and should say "tusks", question #3 has the word "The" at the beginning of three of the four answer choices and should say "they" and question #5 says "replaced" and should say "replace."
I understand that it's sometimes hard to catch errors, but five on one page is a lot. Have you corrected errors and are you going to send out an updated version of the daily language checks? I'd like to use them with my class but only if they are error-free.

I have been swamped with 2nd grade stuff this year! I do have a list of first grade things going, but I have not made anything yet! I'm so sorry! As I remember you wanted a CST-type lesson plan and items for each story(?) I actually brought home the first grade set of HM Teacher Guides/Books and have a bunch of ideas, but nothing made. I'm so sorry!!!!

Hi,
First, order the pages 1-6 with all page numbers in lower right hand corner. (The words on the even numbered pages will be upside down--that's what you want.)
2. Photocopy the pages back-to-back. Pages 1 and 2; Pages 3 and 4; Pages 5 and 6. (Remember to keep the pages numbers in the lower right-hand corner when photocopying.
3. Set up an assembly line. Lay the pages out in three stacks--page ones, page threes, page fives.
4. Fold all of the pages ones on the line. Julius (page 1) will be one top and peeking out beneath will be the words "My Favorite Part".
5. Fold page 3 on the dotted line. On top will be "Facts About Real Pigs" peeking out beneath will be "Would You LIke to Have Julius as a Friend? Why?"
6. Fold page 5 on the line. On top will be "How is Julius Like a Real Pig?" peeking out beneath will be "How is Julius Not Like a Real Pig?".
Once all of the pages are folded, assemble in order 1, 3, 5 and staple at the top.

If I recall correctly the grandson's name was Dominique and the mom Felicia I believe. Oh boy, wish I could remember what you did with the money.. I always struggle with that. If I finish my summary of the first grade ELA standards I try and remember to send it to you. There's lots of cross-referencing and I was getting cross eyed.
