My Aussie kids love these daily word problems. Sure, I have to convert a few things to metric, but a small price to pay for a quality product that stimulates the kids comprehension skills, maths problem solving skills, collaboration & maths "speak" in the mornings. I have a new one up on the interactive whiteboard every morning & they rush to see what it is today. They argue using maths language, I love it. Thank you, & I hope your friend's child with cancer gets the treatment he needs & deserves. Good luck. :)

SOOOO happy to have this new set of word problems. They are just perfect as a warm-up in my GED class. Each day I give 5 problems. Such a nice assortment of questions to maintain their skills! AWESOME!

TEACHING EXPERIENCE
I am currently in my 5th year of teaching. Throughout the years, I have taught a variety of math classes from 5th - 8th grade, as well as some other subject areas. I am currently teaching 6th grade advanced math, 7th grade pre-algebra, 8th grade algebra I, and 6th grade social studies.
MY TEACHING STYLE
I believe in teaching for understanding...not memorization! I like my students to be able to explain WHY we do what we do in!
