I taught for seven years in an inner city school district, and then moved to a suburban/rural district where I have been teaching for the past four years. My experience as a classroom teacher was in first grade (regular education, then self-contained English Language Learners) before moving to teach Library instruction to grades Kindergarten through sixth.
