TEACHING EXPERIENCE

This is my eighth year teaching and I couldn't imagine doing anything else. I have worked at a high SES school, but currently I'm teaching at a title one school that's working hard to get out of PI. We are 79% Hispanic, 10% Asian, 6% African American, and 5% White. I teach 2nd grade GATE- gifted and talented- but in the afternoon I teach ELD. We are making tremendous strides towards our goals. I heart my second graders!!!

MY TEACHING STYLE

I believe in teaching to each child's needs and differentiate each lesson. I believe school should be fun and hands in. I believe we have to show our students we genuinely care in order for them to learn ;)
