On the Clarifying bookmark, you may want to "bring forward" the headline. The picture covers the word. Neat bookmarks--thanks!

I plan to use the bookmarks in a Language Arts Center this school year. Our school will be piloting a new reading program that requires "center time". These will be a great resource for a center activity after we work on the concepts as a group. Thanks!

The idea is great and I really like the layout. However, when I opened the file I had to re-place all of the bookmarks and fix the graphics. I would highly recommend making this a pdf to avoid this problem. Other than that, I think the bookmarks are wonderful!

Outstanding! A black and white version is helpful for those of us who cannot make copies in color.
I modified the headlines and changed red text to black.

Exceptionally terrific idea! My district uses all of these comprehension strategies and one more; monitoring and adjusting reading speed. In addition we use 5 comprehension skills; classify & categorize, cause/effect, compare/contrast, main dieas and details and sequence. I'll be working to fashion some bookmarks or other modality for the skills that differentiates from the strategies. Perhaps you will use these too. Thank you!

Very colorful, well organized, and useful tool for students to use while reading any text. Color could be a problem, too, because of the expense of printing, but it's very atttractive.
