I am currently a Middle School Science Department Chair in Baltimore County, Maryland. Prior to teaching, I worked as a senior engineer for a major defense contractor.
Student directed, inquiry based instruction. I firmly believe that students need an authentic context for what they are learning, and strive to provide applications for everything that they are learning.

I am married to my wife, Carla, a high school biology teacher, and we have one child.
