I have the printable numbers worksheets. At the bottom is says to color in the squares to show the number 2 in the ten frame. What in the world does that mean? How does coloring these squares show the number two? Please explain.

Do you know the strategy of using 10 frames for counting? Basically, they color the first two squares to represent that 2 of the 10 squares are represented for the 10 Frame. You can email me if you want me to send you photos or go into more detail. :)

TEACHING EXPERIENCE
I have been teaching for 6 years, and this is my 5th year in Kindergarten. I have my Multiple Subject Teaching Credential and Masters in Education, from Vanguard University. I love teaching!
MY TEACHING STYLE
My main goal it to keep all of the students engaged and excited about learning. When teaching a new concept, I like to make it hands on, and an interactive experience for the students. My favorite thing to teach is writing, and I love adding an art project onto whatever we are learning about.
