I do love these, but unfortunately, I won't be able to use all of them due to the language being different for England.
I was aware of this before I purchased them, and it did not put me off buying them, as I will use a few of the posters. They are visually stunning!
Do let me know if you adapt to 'English' version rather than 'American'; for example, we use full stop, speech marks, and connectives in our language over the water ;)

I looked at the one for Activ and it isn't as cute as the other and I love the CC built in. We are running the newest version of Activ. I will be working on adding more pages to the Promethean file over the summer. The tricky part with converting the SMART file to an Activ file with this lesson is that there are so many interactive pieces that do not convert over. I would not recommend converting this particular file. I have lowered the price on the Promethean file, if that helps. You could purchase now at the lowered price then when I update the file you will get the additional pages at no extra expense just by downloading it again from your purchases. Send me an email at hansonmichelle@rocketmail.com and I will let you know when the additional pages have been added.

This was created using the Notebook Software for SMARTBoards. You can open it using smart express which is a web application, but it is not as good as the actual software. If you open it using smart express then you can use it on any whiteboard. Here is the link to the site.

There are many more pages in the SMARTBoard 83 page common core file, as I am better at using the Notebook software for the development of lessons. I have a couple of files available for the SMARTBoard. The polkadot file is exactly the same as the 83 page file with a polkadot theme. I also offer a smaller file 62 page file with 12 less calendars It does not have the countdown page you talke about. I feel that the 83 page file will you get you through the entire year! My first graders and I have loved loved loved using your calendar flipcharts every day. Another teacher on my team purchased it as well. We were wondering if it would be possible to make the clock pages more interactive? I don't know if it is just our ActivInspire version or what but we are unable to manipulate the clocks to different times and would love to be able to do that. Thanks for your response!

There are some interactive clock in the resource pack. You can add them to the page if you like. I would also suggest deleting the hands and drawing your own hands on the clock each day so as to change things up. The calendar Common Core you speak of is for SMARTBoards. I only offer one Math Promethean file. You should download your purchase again, as I have updated it in the past couple of months. Hope this helps.

Absolutely! I do not use all the slides everyday. This file will get you through the entire year. In fact, for first graders I found success using this along with a daily math worksheet each day. I didn't even have to use my text or consumable at all!!! The kids scored very well on the universal screener. You will get explicit instructions on how to edit and save the file. You need to be sure that the names are set to go to the top layer. I think they are going behind the colored boxes. To fix this, select the name, scroll down to order and select bring to top. Hope this helps. Let me know if I can further help.

First download the file and save it. You will not be able to open it without the notebook software, but save it anyway. Now go to express.smarttech.com/# Then click on open existing notebook file and browse for the saved file. Now the file will open in the web based application. Please note that I use google Crome as my browser. You will need to edit some of the pages as the lesson was created with the actual software. It works best in presentation mode.

Hello! I am having trouble programming this. I can't highlight the "Name" to print in my kids names. I can't unlock the Tasks as all I get is a 4 way arrow and nothing happens. It helps to have the newest version of notebook 11. Go up to your menu and select edit then select all locked notes. Now go to one of the locked notes and unlock. This will unlock all of them. If this does not work for you then close the notebook software and reopen it. Sometimes I get a glitch with the software and it helps the reboot.

I'm not so "tech" savvy, but found myself in a classroom equiped with a Promethean Board. So here's my question...Could I download this file on a jumpdrive and have it work once I get back to my classroom or would I need to download this file to the computer connected to my Promethean board?

Yes, you could download the file and save it to your jump drive then open it on your classroom computer, bit only if you have the ActiveInspire software installed on your home computer. Once you purchase a product, you can go to your "Purchases""and download it as many times as you want. So, you could purchase from home, then download once you get to school. Hope this helps! I love your attendance flip charts; I just wish some of the smart board ones were also for the flip chart. I love the interactive groundhog. Thank you for taking the time to create these flip charts, being my first year with an active board it has been a blessing not to have to worry about creating anything extra.

Yes, you can use all of my SMARTboard files on any interactive whiteboard if you open them using SMART Express, a web-based application. You can find it at the link below. I do not offer my lessons in powerpoint as there is a great deal of interactive aspects to my lessons that would not come through with powerpoint.

I downloaded the Name/Group generator, but it only opens up 99.5% on my ActivInspire (Promethean software--it imports SmartBook files through Notebook conversion software, but this is not downloading it all the way). Have others encountered this problem? ~Lori

Promethean can import smart files, but not the interactive resources. The Random Name Generator is interactive and therefor will not work with Promethean. This is my Eighth year teaching. I have taught at both the second and first grade level. I have also taught a first/second grade combined class. My elementary is working toward a multiaged concept at this time. We are extremely excited about the new opportunities for our students.
