TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I taught grade 5 last year and I am currently teaching grade 2. I LOVE IT! I find it very fulfillng to be teaching the fundamental skills that students must use and build on the rest of their lives. It is so amazing to be able to do something every single day that I love!

MY TEACHING STYLE

I love students to do the exploring and learning for themselves as much as possible. I find it allows them to really make a personal connection with what they are learning. I try to use many manipulatives and make learning as fun and relateable to their lives as much as possible!

I received a degree in English and Educational Psychology and have recently finished school to become educated in Montessori for lower elementary. My goal is to obtain my Masters in Special Education in the next few years.
