TEACHING EXPERIENCE
This is my third year teaching third grade. Before becoming a classroom teacher, I worked as a Mobile Educator for a Non-Profit science education program called Science In Motion. I also spent time teaching environmental education programs at McKeever Environmental Center. These unique teaching experiences have helped me plan creative lessons to take my current students beyond the four walls of the classroom.

ADDITIONAL BIOGRAPHICAL INFORMATION
My favorite things to teach in Third Grade are our Space Unit. We study the Solar System and also decorate our hallway with research projects and fact posters to involve everyone in our building. My favorite chapter book to read with my students is Frindle. While reading about Nick Allen, my students started a campaign for the word Keepo for eraser.
