Hi Liz! I'm only in my 2nd year, so I understand how you feel!
Fold the paper in half vertically. Then, on one side of the fold, cut from the edge to the middle of the page. The kids can flip up each of the 3 parts, so there's the topic on the outside and the example on the inside. I hope this makes sense. Thanks for your question!
