The only suggestion I have is for the fraction section, in 4th grade they only use certain denominators and some of the ones used in the packed don't match the ones they need in 4th grade. Other than that it is great!

There are 6 problems a page and there are 17 pages of problems, for a total of over 100 practice problems. Each page also comes with an answer key. Hi there! I have a question for you...I recently purchased the 2nd Grade Common Core Math Standards Based Asessments and Teaching Notes...All Standards. I downloaded it and went to print but it only prints the first 41 pages and then won't print the rest of the 160ish total that it says are there. It stops after the Answer Key for 2.G.1, 2.G.2 and 2.G.3. Please just let me know what I need to do to get the full download. It looks great and I am very interested in this.

Thanks so much for your question. I have checked every passage on the Lexile Leveler as well as the Questar DRP (Degree of Reading Program) Analyzer. Every passage has a Lexile range of about 850L to 1010 L. According to the updated Lexile Leveler for the 2012 Common Core Standards, the text measured for a 5th grade student should fall anywhere from 830L to 1010L. According the the Questar DRP Analyzer, the passages fall between a DRP value of 52-63. Obviously I did my best to meet the wide range of readers in the classroom and keep them rigorous enough to meet the needs of the Common Core. I hope this helps! With the pre/post test, I always give the same assessment. The reason for this is to accurately compare apples to apples. If you give your students two different assessments, you will not be able to accurately show their growth. I assure you when you give them the same assessment for pre/post the students will not remember the questions. But, instead they will look at their old scores from their pre-test and have a HUGE boost in their confidence and self esteem when they suddenly realize WOW, how did I get that one wrong! (Trust me it just happened with my kids!) I go into great detail on how to do this in some of the "Assessment directions" found in this product. I hope this helps! Hello- Thanks so much for your kindness, and never a dumb question! :) I will be coming out with 4th grade ELA Assessments very soon! Keep your eye out for them! Also, I am required to use a math curriculum provided for me by my district. With that, I use my assessments to guide my teaching for each unit. So, if my I have a group of students that score low for place value and a group that has already mastered it, I differentiate my classroom in order to meet the needs of my low group with re-teaching, practice, games, etc. And I also do my best to provide my high group with enrichment opportunities. Otherwise, here is what I suggest:
If you are having trouble, try this: if you are a Mac user, you need Adobe Acrobat Reader X. If doing that doesn't work, try these options:
-If you're a Mac user, switch browsers (if you're currently using Firefox, try using Internet Explorer or Safari).
-Make sure you check Adobe under "open with" to verify that that Adobe is the program you're using to open the document and not "preview".
-Try opening the document from an entirely different computer (open directly from TpT)
Please let me know if any of these options help and, if they don't, you'll have to contact TpT for additional help, they are pretty awesome at helping customers out! Take care!

They were labels of each standard to put onto file folders. Another teacher had made them for 2nd grade and you made some for 4th grade.

Hi Miranda- Thanks for your question! DIBELS is a quick check fluency measure that is given to students in a one-on-one setting and it is an oral test. Isn't MAP the online, adaptive testing through NWEA? If I am mistaken, please let me know! I am thinking perhaps it is similar to STAR?? Does it give students a grade equivalent once they have finished taking it? If yes, then that is similar to STAR testing. Let me know! Thanks!

I do imagine it could, there are a ton of similarities. Not to mention it will be great for differentiation. I have a few 4th grade readers and I have been using my 4th grade beginning assessments with them, so I imagine you could do that with my 5th grade.
