The majority of the pages in here are tailored to fit any curriculum program. They are for students to track their data/mastery of learning for each of the common core standards. I have also included a few separate graphs for students to track their STAR reading levels, AR levels, fluency, etc. I do not have a graph for Reading Counts, but I think you could still use this without that. I hope this helps!

Hey there! I just purchased your data binder pack and am so excited to use this this fall! I just had a few quick questions: first, is there any way that the zebra could be changed to fit my classroom theme (it's rock & roll- lots of guitars, records, etc.) I know it's silly but I'm kind of weird about making everything flow :) Second, at the school I'm at we use highly proficient, proficient, etc. with the 0- 4 (as the report card grades are 1-4). Is there any way to also incorporate that to the posters? The language is mainly the same, I would just love to have the "highly proficient," "proficient," and so on added with! Thanks so much for your time! This binder pack is amazing!

Thank you for your kind words! There wasn't necessarily a curriculum that inspired these, but instead the need grew out of the constant discussion of data, and student data tracking in the classroom. I read a lot of Marzano's data tracking research and it led me to create these. I used these student data binders in the past with Everyday Math and currently with Pearson's EnVision Math. With that though, I do think they could be used with any curriculum since they don't match one particular curriculum so to speak, but instead all of the common core standards. I am somewhat familiar with Forward by Pearson, and if I'm not mistaken, doesn't the math portion use Envision Math textbooks and curriculum? I hope this helps! I was wondering if you had this document so that there were two benchmark standards on one page. I like the full page poster size but they won't fit on my bulletin board. I just bought the Number and Operations in Base Ten "I can, we can" statements that are two to a page and would love a document of all the 5th grade math Common Core benchmarks. Just wondering. Hello! You can print multiple pages on one page on your own in your printer settings! Here's an explanation and a link: If you go to print, there is an option for "multiple pages" on one page. You can then customize it to have how ever many pages you want on a page. The print page shows the layout as you change the numbers. http://www.stanford.edu/group/cubberley/node/3603. This looks wonderful! How often are you assessing your students? My reading is all novel-based. We are not self-contained, so I have 69 students. What are your thoughts on the possibility of working these assessments into my day. Thank you!!!

Hello! Thanks so much for your question. I always assess before I begin teaching a unit (pre-assessment) to see what my students already know/what their needs are, and then I assess after teaching the unit (post-assessment) in order to see if they mastered the content, who needs re-teachings, etc. My units all vary in length. Some units are a few days, some are a week, and others are longer. If you strictly teach with novels, I would use the novels to teach your lessons, then use these assessments to assess the lessons you have taught. Does this make sense?! I teach 6th and 7th grade Science in a school that is implementing common Core. I started implementing 2 years ago, however I have yet to find a suitable way to data track for achievement and assessment. I loved the system of yours I found on Pinterest for data binders that the students fill out and I wondered which of your products would work best for my grade levels and subject? Thanks so much.
