I used these number practice pages for homework also. I can't believe the progress students made with number recognition! For the first time, in several years, I have most of my kindergarten class recognize numbers to 30! Great supplemental number practice!

Learn to Read Part I assists students in practicing letter names and sounds with fluency. The student is also introduced to high frequency words. I send this page home with their homework on the first day of school and every week thereafter. By December, only 10 students are taking it home. The rest of the class has learned letter sounds and names by then.

There are about 4 words per page. The word has a picture to go along with it. Just laminate the page for durability and cut apart and display on the wall. The words included are common words kindergarteners might need help spelling when writing a journal. The teachers that purchased this product are very happy with it.
