TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I have taught many different grade levels over the years, but my heart belongs to 1st and 2nd grade.

MY TEACHING STYLE

I believe instruction should be learner-centered. Not everyone learns in the same way. Hands-on activities and cooperative learning not only engages students, but develops higher order thinking processes. Students need to be able to see, hear, touch, taste, and experience in order to fully gain understanding.

HONORS/AWARDS/SHINING TEACHER MOMENT

The best moments in teaching are those small, powerful moments.

MY OWN EDUCATIONAL HISTORY

I earned both my Bachelor of Science degree and Master Degree in Educational Administration at Tarleton State University in Stephenville, Texas.
