This is my 11th year of doing what I love. I have taught kindergarten inner city, 6th grade literature, and now the best grade on Earth-2nd! I am blessed.

I am a teacher which empowers my students to THINK. I push them harder than they think they can reach. I have never met a child which does not meet expectations. They will acheive what you expect. I am a Whole Brain classroom and using this teaching style has changed my life. I also use sign language on a daily basis in my classroom and my students do as well. I believe in hands on, minds on, to empowers every student.

I have been teacher of the year and I am on the state board for writing our new science course of study.

I am blessed to be married to a man that understands being a teacher's husband. He is patient and helpful. He cuts lamination like a pro. I work late hours and through the summer. He never complains or questions my dedication. My most precious reward in life is my son. He is a blessing and I thank God each day. We love to go to our local beach. I am an artist and spend my free time creating pieces for my home.
