I'm sorry that it won't work for your students and I understand how resources aren't always appropriate for every classroom. Unfortunately, the TeachersPayTeachers Support Team is the only group that can issue a refund on this site and all requests must go through them. That's a good question. If you look in the Teacher Notes section (at the end of the packet), I've included many of the answers to the worksheets. The easiest thing for you to do in the case of a sub would be to print an extra packet and write the answers in that one. I hope this helps! I just purchased the Safari Number Cards and noticed that the number three card has only one dot . . .can this be fixed? Also, is there a way to enlarge the cards? Thanks!

As far as enlarging the cards....I am able to enlarge pdf pages on my printer by selecting the 'poster' option under 'page size.' This allows me to choose the exact size that I want it to be. Since each printer is different, your sizing function may be named something different.

Great Question! Each year's time-frame varied as I used it as our 'after testing' project. Generally, it was about one week of in-class work with an additional day or two allocated for group presentations. If we had a shorter time period, I simply lowered my expectations on how extensive the projects were and helped students select ideas that could be accomplished in the shorter time (ie- posters, booklets, skits). If we had longer, I would require students to pick projects that fit that time-frame (ie- movie poster with a movie preview 'skit' or an illustrated picture book about their topic).
For those groups who seemed to finish way too early: I would help them brainstorm ways they could add elements or expand on their topic to improve their project. It's meant to be very flexible since each year is different.

I'm glad my resources have helped you out! No, I don't teach 6th grade- most of my history resources come from my time teaching 5th grade. We taught US History in 5th in my particular county (though most of my colleagues in adjacent districts taught it in 6th grade, like Fairfax). I thoroughly enjoyed teaching history to that age group; there's just so many fun things you can do! We didn't have much in the way of prepared resources to go along with the curriculum, so I found myself creating most of the materials that we used. After a while, I thought: If these ideas are working for me, maybe they'll work for someone else as well. I appreciate your encouraging words. As teachers, we often put our all into our work, but we don't get a lot of feedback. It encourages me to know that my resources are benefiting others as well. I hope you have a successful school year and an enjoyable holiday season!

Absolutely! I have been known to 'double buy' an item once or twice as well. I looked up how to refund a purchase, but the only advice I found was to email the TpT office staff with the info and let them refund it from their end. They should be giving you a full refund ($3.99) instead of just a credit. If you do not receive your refund in the next few days, please let me know and I will make sure you get it in some form or another. Have a wonderful week!
