You might start by re-downloading from your "my purchases" page on TpT just in case anything goofy happened while you were downloading originally. The file you download will be a zipped file, so you need to double click it to unzip. It should create a folder with several items in it. Inside the folder will be a file with the blue Prezi icon. Just double click that icon, and then your computer will probably ask if you really want to “open” the web-created file. No worries; there’s no virus, so just open and enjoy. For full-screen viewing, be sure to click on the small icon in the lower right-hand corner. You can ignore all of the other files that are in the folder, but don't delete or move them. They are needed to run the show.
Let me know if you have any more trouble, and I'll be happy to help you. Thanks so much for purchasing! My students really enjoy this one.

I recently bought this and plan on using it Thursday. For some reason I am having difficulty finding the Answer Key for the 16 page PDF practice document. In addition, it appears to be separated into various assignments for the one power point. As a new teacher, can you advise on pacing for a 45 minute 7th grade class period with 25 students?

I have the lesson divided into thirds because I usually assign everything as homework. Students watch a third of the video, fill in the notes as they watch, and complete the homework worksheet. Then we review and practice in class the next day. I usually go this route if we are reading a novel, which means we don't have as much class time to devote to grammar.
I have also taught the entire PowerPoint as one lesson. I would estimate that it would take about 30 minutes to present the PowerPoint, giving students time to fill in their notes. Then you would assign the homework worksheets, giving them some class time to get started if you have leftover time. You could easily paste the three separate documents for the notes and homework into single documents to give to the students. I would use the PDF practice to review the next day after grading their homework. I forgot to include an answer key to the PDF practice document, but I will update the download right now. You will be able to re-download from your "my purchases" page.

Yes, there are five PowerPoints, a word stem chart for students to fill out while viewing the PowerPoints, a review game, and a 55-question quiz covering all 50 stems. (The extra five questions ask them to apply the knowledge by using their knowledge of stems to deduce the definitions of unfamiliar words.)

I'm so sorry that it took a few days for me to get back to you. (I was out of town). I have added an answer key to the study guide document (just scroll past the study guide on the Word document to find it listed again with answers in italics). I have also added a Prezi version of the study guide. It is in the form of a presentation that zooms into the question and then zooms into the answer. This is great for quickly quizzing students as part of a review session or for grading the study guide together as a class. You should be able to go to your purchased page to download the updated files. Thanks!

I have just purchased the lesson clauses, downloaded it and saved it. Upon reopening the file on my mac, the commas in the examples (in red) are all over the place. Is there a reason why this is happening and is there a way for me to correct it?

Great I appreciate your quick response. Even if you cannot get the same clip, please attempt to fill that box with a link that currently works so I can display that this year. What I think I will do once you attempt to fix it is take screen captures of the You Tube video clips within the Prezi presentation and save them as separate files. This way if the clips are removed or deleted from You Tube, I will have a separate video file not attached to You Tube, which I can still play for the kids. I love Prezi but the only problem is exactly what we are faced with, sometimes You Tube clips are marked private or deleted and then unfortunately the presentations need to be re-worked. I appreciate your time and positive energy looking into this.

Okay, I uploaded the actual video files into the prezi instead of just YouTube links, so now they should be permanent fixtures :-) I also added a bit about Rosa Parks - she told an interviewer that Emmett Till was her inspiration for not giving up her seat on the bus. I use the notebook file as a review activity for the whole class. I have students come to the board to make corrections on the SmartBoard. I provided the PDF file version in case a buyer did not have Notebook software. The sentences could also be used for an individual assessment.
