There are some usable items, but I was hoping for some lesson ideas to scaffold the sentence writing. This is a little advanced for what I was hoping to use with 3rd graders right away. I would have loved a few lesson ideas or scaffolding pages to bridge the gap between naming the different types of sentences on the first page and helping students understanding the different types of sentences better.

Disagree with K - 2 ranking. I feel some of it is a too juvenile for my second graders. I'm only using a few of the pages and some of the activities would be too difficult for many kindergarteners, like making words from "Valentine's Day." I recommend breaking into 2 or 3 more grade appropriate packets. Quality of work is beautiful.

Thank you bejay100. I'd have to say that my kindergartners last year were doing well with this at this time of the year. I think 2nd graders would love to do this as more of a competition or challenging activity. Thanks so much for the advice ;-)
