Hi, Valerie! This PowerPoint is only about Light and its role/application in photography. It doesn't address any camera technicalities and has 12 slides. Hope that helps! :)

TEACHING EXPERIENCE

During the school year, I taught second grade for two years. During the summers, I taught gifted middle and high school students for five years. And finally, I taught art and digital photography teacher for a private school for two years.

MY TEACHING STYLE

I challenged higher level thinking and hold all my students to high standards. I'm quirky in personality, so that tends to come out when I'm teaching. I encouraged creativity and differentiated learning.

HONORS/AWARDS/SHINING TEACHER MOMENT

I'm honored to be a freelance writer for Mailbox Magazine (Grade 2-3). Unfortunately, the ideas/projects I create for them will not be on here due to legal reasons... but you will find other Mailbox-quality items by me on here!

MY OWN EDUCATIONAL HISTORY

I graduated cum laude from Alfred University with my B.A. in English. I went off to grad school to Boston College and earned my M.Ed. in Elementary Education. All that means nothing though because I learned more with practice than all the theory.
