Good variety of expressions. I wanted to use them as cards for the students to match, and they were a little small for that.

I used this product with my students last week for a quick activity to evaluate what was taught the day before. The students really enjoyed it and it gave me a great opportunity to discuss with them any misconceptions they had on the topic. Great product!!!

I really love the visuals on this! The kids really enjoyed it, too. I wish there was more than one problem on the ppt. It would be great to have a small handful and to include subtraction as well as addition.

QUESTIONS AND ANSWERS:

Julie L. re: Number Systems Notes

Hello

On your 4th slide, your labels are switched. -66/55 = - 1.2 which is rational.

A rational number can be expressed as a ratio of two integers (or whole numbers but that is a completely different discussion). Since both 66 and 55 are integers, then their quotient is rational.

The square root of 3/4 is irrational. It would simplify the the - square root of 3 divided by 2. Since the square root of 3 is irrational, the negative square root of 3 divided by 2 would be irrational.

I recently purchased you Box Plot notes. I downloaded the free sample and the paid version. Did you know that they are the same? Is there more to the paid version I should be getting? Just curious

MY TEACHING STYLE

I use a lot of cooperative learning. It took some trail and error, but I have a pretty effective technique that works very well for my students.
