TEACHING EXPERIENCE
I have been teaching for 12 years. Six of those years were in Kindergarten and the other six have been in second grade. I have had teaching experiences in everything from Pre-K with three year olds to fourth grade.
MY TEACHING STYLE
I am a very in the moment style of teacher. I believe in hands on learning as much as possible. The teachable moment is a huge reality for me, and I feel that it reaches my students far better than anything I might have thought they needed when I was writing down lesson plans. A plan is just that...a plan! Reality changes things from moment to moment.
