Our school has been looking into math vocabulary cards and we often find that a lot of the words do not fit for K-2. Would it be possible to get the list of the 111 words? I would like to present it to our principal and see what she thinks. If it fits, we would be purchasing 10-20 licenses. Thanks!

I feel that I have some extreme dyslexic students in my classroom. I have used some of your materials, which I thought would greatly help. They have to a certain degree. The families at our school are from another country and do not agree with testing children, so I am on my own. Can you suggest any resources that might help these children? They all seem to have different types of dyslexia. I also feel that some of the problem is that Russian is their first language, so their spelling is mostly phonetic and often they extract vowels.

Is there any way that you could make a generic jungle birthday certificate? I love your design but I teach 7th graders and though they'd be thrilled to get the birthday recognition, they'd hate being referred to as 2nd graders (or so on)...

How do you play Graph A Word? Where you roll the dice and write the word in the column and color. How are the words related to the number on the dice...what words do you use? This is from your wonderful word word taks cards. It was an amazing freebee.

When I use this activity, I put a blank copy with the words already filled in across the bottom for each number. That way, the kids fill in their papers before beginning so they know which words corresponds with which number they roll on the dice. I change my words with the activity, but tend to use it to practice sight words. Hope this helps!

I love your reading and writing task cards. I have downloaded the reading set and plan to download the writing set, do you have set for math? Also, I have a few blank cards that I would like add new centers to, but would like to do it on the computer, can I ask where you got your clipart from? No, the Thanksgiving writing cards are not in the Writing Task Cards. The writing task cards have a general card for Thanksgiving, but the Thanksgiving cards are all writing topics for November.

I'm so-o-o excited about incorporating some of your wonderful ideas into my Word Work activities! If I were one of my students I'd be so excited to build rockets with my words or add up the scores of my words from the Scrabble tiles. Like most people, however, I'm wondering how to play Park That Word. It seems like an actvity that some of my boys would particularly enjoy.
