Hi there, I bought your rock songs book. I want to use all the songs, but you didn't list the tunes to the song, ROCKS. What about the chant/song? What is a Rock? Does that have a tune? Same fore the Sedimentary Rock, Metamorphic Rock and the Igneous Rock songs. Please help.

I do not have a specific tune for these songs. What I normally do is challenge groups of students to make it up. It's fun for them and they learn the words/content. I hope this helps!

TEACHING EXPERIENCE
I am the proud mother of two incredible boys. Who teach me everyday what is to be a curious child. I have taught fourth grade in California for 10 years. I completed a Master's Degree in Reading at California State University, Fullerton. During my time teaching fourth grade I have been a grade-level and school leader. I have taught low income and higher-middle class students, high concentrations of English learners, both Spanish and Korean speaking. I have taught many remedial and GATE students as well.

Currently, I am implementing Readers' and Writers' Workshops. I am doing a lot of research on spelling, too.
