I recently purchased your Writing Workshop Notebook Pack. I can't get pages 53 through the end of the book to print. I get an error message everytime. Can you help me with this issue. It says that there is something not compatible with the Adobe Reader but it prints the first part with no problem.

WOW!! What a great packet! There are ABC cards that would be great for a mini pocket chart that was a $1.00 at Target over the summer. I have already started printing them and will have them laminated for Tuesday. The students will love making the posters. Thank you for making this wonderful packet!

Tessa... you know what... I planned on creating the Back to School Math Unit, but then I was switched to teaching K instead of 1st grade at the last minute, and I never got to it. I plan on creating it still, but no you do not have to have the back to school math unit. You can use your own mini lesson ideas instead of the ones in my to-be-created math unit if you choose to.

Yes, I do! I cut apart the sentences, laminate the sentences and pictures, and then put magnets on the back. This way it can stick to the board for everyone to see.

TEACHING EXPERIENCE
I am in my 3rd year of teaching, and I love it! I am currently teaching kindergarten, and previously taught first grade for 2 years. I have published one article and have been chosen to help write curriculum for Language Arts in my district.
MY TEACHING STYLE
In my classroom, I do as much as I can to have the students working together. Especially in math, I feel that real learning occurs when students are talking about their thinking.

I am a teacher, wife, friend, sister, singer, and above all... a Christian. I try hard to let my faith guide what I do. My favorite thing to teach is writing workshop. I just love to see how creative they can be, and I love to watch them grow throughout the year.
