This is a unit with a Thanksgiving theme which includes alphabetical order, forming plurals, writing an acrostic poem, the story of The First Thanksgiving with comprehension questions, the story of the Pilgrims' journey with comprehension questions, planning and figuring the cost of a Thanksgiving dinner, a number puzzle, telling time, an art project for making a turkey out of Thanksgiving words, four coloring pages, and a word search. This is a 28 page math unit that reviews the concepts of adding 10, ordering numbers in the thousands, ordering numbers in the hundred thousands, a sheet that you can use to practice skip counting, multiplication, subtracting 10's, subtracting with regrouping, subtracting without regrouping, patterns in the multiplication tables, the magic of 9 in addition and multiplication, patterns, and geometry. These are practice sheets for the multiplication facts for 2 through 12. There are answer sheets for each page. Students are to time themselves and figure out how long it took them, then correct and write down any facts they need to study. Students are challenged to take the test many times and try to improve their speed. There are 60 facts per page. This could be used in a math center or with the whole class. I would suggest having students graph their times for each page to show improvement
