Common Core Connection  (TpT Seller) re: Early Writers - Write Around the Room!
Hi, I enjoyed your product. I was able to confidently give it a perfect rating. Thanks for sharing!

I just listed a new type of Sight Word PowerPoint for Kindergarten and First Grade. It is listed under First 50 Sight Words PowerPoint. It includes the words in isolation and within the context of sentences with picture support. I wondered if you might consider taking a look at the free 4 slide preview to see if it might be something you could use. Thanks! Anne Gardner

The preview is just the first portion of the lesson plan. It goes on to explain types of pasta used for an activity that teaches the various stages.

TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I have always loved working with younger students and have done my best to have an opportunity to teach, at least on some level, each of the younger grades.

MY TEACHING STYLE

I am a little strict, but I can also be laid back at the same time! I just want to see my students show me their best work and to push themselves that extra step in order to reach the success level that I know they are capable of. I also love to play games and have fun in the classroom, which most teachers do! :)

Here is a great quote that I love and reminds me of my students: "Aerodynamically the bumble bee should not be able to fly, but the bumble bee doesn't know it so it goes on flying anyway."
