TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I've been a public school teacher for 20+ years in secondary Language Arts. I've mainly taught high school but I've also taught middle school and college level writing courses. ------------------------

MY TEACHING STYLE

I have a great deal of experience teaching writing. I've develped numerous activities for creative writing and essay writing. My belief is that students must know and practice basic writing techniques such as sentence and paragraph development as well as grammar. I fully support the writing process model for teaching writing and believe that the more students write, the better they get.
