I have a structured classroom, however, we play games to make learning fun! Whenever we can move around during an activity, we do. Adding movement, music, graphics or hands on activities encourages all learners. We have a busy classroom!

I received my Bachelor of Science in Physical Education in 1988. I received my Elementary Endorsement in 1993. In 1997, I received my Master's in Education (Diverse Learner) from the University of Phoenix.
Since I was seven years old, I wanted to be a mommy and a teacher. I am married to a retired Army officer and we have three boys: one gifted, one autistic and one who has high anxiety. I have learned so much from my three amazing boys! Dealing with my own struggles in learning and with my sons has made me a much better teacher than I would have been without these experiences. My supportive husband has made me a better person, mom, and teacher.
