I've been teaching third grade for seven years. I also have experience working with infants and toddlers. I have a young son. I am certified to teach pre-kindergarten - fifth grade, 4-8th science and social studies, and gifted and talented education kindergarten - fifth grade.
I love to teach with hands on activities. I create projects and want my students to apply their learning in real-life situations. I incorporate high expectations for my students through the use of higher order thinking opportunities.

In addition to teaching, I have worked as a camp counselor, director, and project coordinator on U.S. military bases around the world. I worked with that program for eight years and bring my experiences to the classroom daily. I LOVE to read, make toys, activities, and crafts for my son, photography, and traveling.
