I'm sorry, but for $5.00, I was expecting more- more words on the lists, more activities for students to do. Also, I didn't understand the silent e poster. I thought the rule was that the e could jump back over one consonant to let the vowel say its name. So I'm not sure what the 'jump back three' means.

I am sorry you feel this way about the syllable sort unit. At our school we count back three from the end of the word, this is the way our reading specialist teaches her class too. The e is 1, consonant is 2 and the vowel is 3. There are several ways to teach this rule. I wanted to make it the way our specialist teaches it so that it could could immediately be used for tier time for my class. Your feedback is definitely different than the rest and my kiddos loved it. When I teach it again this fall, I will see if I can add to it!

This station is perfect for providing quick, but efficient practice with yet another skill that seems to be touched on inadequately by the everyday math. I loved it and my kids did too! Most of all they came away with a better understanding of perimeter and area. No rulers needed made this easy !

SaKruse re: Super Hero Subtraction Sticks
Some of the words on the sticks don't match the words on the direction sheet. Rescue, villain, and disaster are not printed for the sticks. "Crash" and "no belt" are on the sticks, but not on the direction sheet. Could you fix it?

TEACHING EXPERIENCE
I am a 2nd grade teacher in Kansas. I spend my time teaching, blogging, creating lessons and coaching middle school volleyball. This is my 10th year of teaching! More than anything, I love teaching 2nd grade and making things for my classroom! I started in grades 3 and 1/2 combo. MY TEACHING STYLE
Cooperative learning, differentiation and engagement are the best types of learning activities! My instant math centers were made for this. Stick them on a ring and tack them up by your math wall with a tpin. Or, better yet, use my math drawer labels and you wil find them in an instant. I want to create things that can be pulled off the shelf quickly and that children beg for!
