TEACHING EXPERIENCE
I am currently a 5th grade teacher in the Longview Independent School District. I am completing my 8th year of teaching and I have taught 5th grade all years with the exception of one year. They say it takes a "special" person to teach 5th grade and so I take that as a compliment!
MY TEACHING STYLE
I love hands on activities! I am a visual learner and I have found myself doing my lessons as if I am the student. I am always doing some sort of visual so that my students can actually grasp the concept being taught. With work in cooperative groups and we always make sure that we are creating the best learning community that we can.
