I am on a Mac as well. You'll need to make sure you have the most up to date version of Adobe Reader (it's fee) and then be sure to open it all the way instead of using Mac's preview mode. You can double click and make sure to select "open with" and choose Adobe Reader.

Hi there, I purchased your newsletter and it's not letting me type in the open space. I am using Microsoft word. I saved it as an 97-2004 word document to see if I could click on the open area and I still can't open type on it and I saved it as a more recent word document and still can't type on it. Am I doing something wrong?

They're the same format/type of problems (addition, subtraction, multiplication), but the stories and numbers are all different. My students loved the turkey ones so much they demanded more so that's why I made the winter set. I think I'm going to have to make a set for each month! =)

Yes, under print settings you'll select "multiple pages per sheet" and then you can decide how big you want them. I usually put 6 per page for my student groups and then a whole page set for lessons together.

TEACHING EXPERIENCE
I have taught third grade in Indiana for eight fabulous years. Reading and writing are my favorite subjects, but I love creating hands-on math lessons too. I strive to inspire my students to become critical thinkers and lifelong learners. Teaching is so much fun!
MY TEACHING STYLE
I use a guided reading and writing approach to literacy instruction, combined with individualized word study. I also use interactive math lessons and centers. My philosophy: Students learn best when they are actively involved in their learning!
HONORS/AWARDS/SHINING TEACHER MOMENT
During the last presidential election, one of my students campaigned for me to be president instead. I kept the picture he made of me in the White House as proof. That's a pretty big honor. ;)
MY OWN EDUCATIONAL HISTORY
I am a proud 2004 summa cum laude graduate of Ball State University in Muncie, Indiana. I majored in elementary education and minored in counseling psychology. Since then, I've completed my master's degree and earned my All-Grades Reading Specialist License through Ball State too.
