I am starting a new session with another student today and I will use Accuracy Word Pairs again.
I also printed out and cut up the cards, I sent a word list home with the student, their task is to MATCH like pairs and write them down.
I am so lucky that I didn't have to reinvent the wheel. Thanks so much. If you are ever in the area, let's have coffee!

I do not offer it as a Word document because of font compatibility (I purchase my fonts and most are not recognized by Word), formatting issues, and copyright. PDFs allow me to keep all my hard work secure. I totally understand out of pocket costs! If you check out my blog post (linked also in FB) there are many free resources I linked up to that can be used to supplement (Florida Research Center has a TON!). There's nothing in my store that you HAVE to have but many people love the speed drill word list packets to practice pace and the Daily Fluency packets for warm ups (I'm working on the June/July packets but none if them are season specific so you can go out of order!). There is a Beginner and Intermediate level for each Daily Fluency packet. Also, I'm sure you saw, but this week is my sale so you can get these items 28% off! Again, none if them are necessary if you want to explore the free options out there! Let me know if you have any other questions.

Although I listed this product for grades 2+, there are many K/1 teachers who have purchased this product and found it to be appropriate for their students. The packets are not season specific and you can start them at any point! Many of my students have been using them since November but others are just starting next week. Once you teach the activities the students can work at their own pace (which is great if they're ever absent or you miss a day!).
The remaining packets for the year should be done soon, but try one packet out and see how your students do with the activities first!

Update 2/7: The new product is almost done! I've added 16 accuracy word pair pages along with assessment & tracking resources! It will be a very comprehensive packet. if all goes well with the finishing touches, I'll be posting it tonight!

I am having trouble printing too. Some of the last sheets have print over print on them when they come out or I get an error message on my school printer and it freezes. Ever happen before? I am going to try from my home printer rather than at school and I hope this will solve the problem. Good resource! Thanks.

I typically pose a question as a warm-up or post assessment. The students write their own responses first (so they're prepared with an answer of their own) and then they go around the class and interview each other with the same question. Students record their peers' responses on their own papers. They share their answers with their peers. It's different way for students to discuss and allows them to get up and move as the class is "stirred up." I will put these directions on the product as an update soon! Sorry for the confusion!

If that is the case, chances are you need to update your version of Adobe Reader (via the Adobe website or your version of the program).
Also, if you are on a Mac, do not open with Preview. It will not work. Download the most updated version of Adobe Reader and open the PDF with it (and not Preview).

Oh no! I've never heard of that before either! Please contact the support team if you run into this problem again... maybe it's your Internet browser? I know they've been having issues with certain browsers for file uploads so maybe it's the same for downloads.

I'm finishing up some word lists this week for speed drills, but currently have long and short vowel word cards (can be used as a list if uncut) and Bossy /r/. Not sure when you are looking to have them by but it's been one of my summer projects to get those done. Should be done soon! If you need something right away, I know there are some free options available if you go to the FCRR website, too! I can message you too when my word lists are done, if you're interested though. :)

Try upgrading your Adobe via the Adobe website. Sometimes there's an update that you don't get alerts for.
