We were a week in the lab and then another week to work on their own. That was MORE than enough time. I think if you let them know ahead of time what they will be doing, then three days in the lab are sufficient.

I just purchased this packet because the students and I love these activities! I am always amazed at how quickly they can "solve" them. Another reason is because I wanted to design my own puzzles and did not have a template and "how to" directions. I did not see instructions included-or did I not look in the right place? =) Also, were there supposed to be 2 of the same puzzle or is one supposed to be a "template". Thanks so much for answering my questions.

¡Hola! The instructions (and more ideas for this puzzle) may be purchased separately for $1.99 (Please see "Partner Puzzle Instructions.") You only need to purchase those once and then you will know what to do with any of the other tenses/puzzles. Yes, the puzzle you purchased is the same puzzle in two slides, but one has a watermark/picture in the background and one does not. Sometimes, the picture makes the puzzle even easier for the students, but it is a nice touch. :)

I have had the opportunity to travel to Spain, Mexico, Guatemala (as a missionary for 3 months) and El Salvador. Currently living in the middle of Tex-Mex--which makes teaching Spanish even more challenging! Pastor's wife of a bilingual congregation--which is ALWAYS exciting!
