My students have only completed the first two activities. Their unit test results were very good due to the collaboration and fun those activities provided. I can't wait to do the others in our next unit. Thank you!!
Hello! I purchased the Percent of Number Mathopoly game, and love it! However, I couldn't get the gameboard to print larger. It just prints on one 8 by 11 page. I saw in the directions you were able to get yours to print on 6 sheets. I have tried a couple things, but must be missing something. Do you have any tips?
I just asked technology in my district and they said all you need to do is change the paper setting when you print. If this doesn't work, send me your e-mail address, I could send by e-mail or I could print for you and send by mail if you prefer.

Hi Nancy - I love your products! I am hoping you have something like a tutorial sheet for students in order to solve multi-step problems using a tape diagram.
There are several wonderful books out on the step-by-step approach to solving common core's tape diagrams. My favorite is the one listed here. http://www.singaporemath.com/Step_by_Step_Model_Drawing_p/csbsbsmd.htm
There is a wonderful website that walks you through the process as well. (free) It is thinking blocks. http://www.thinkingblocks.com/
You can't beat this site. Both are wonderful.
I am thinking about buying your Second Grade Number Talks posters and the Math Strategies Posters. Are these products very similar? I would hate to spend all the money to have two items that are very close in content.
Hello Mrs. Moore.
The Second Grade Number Talks are not posters but 10 minute number talks that focus on essential number relationships to help students become fluent with basic facts and computational fluency. The Math Strategies Posters are those strategies necessary for fact and computational fluency. They complement Number talks. I use the number talks daily and refer to the posters daily as students identify a strategy they use to solve mathematics. Hope this helps.

Buyer re: Math Strategies Posters
I am interested in getting your math strategy posters but have a hard time justifying buying them without know the strategies contained in the packet. I understand your note wanting to reveal your developed ideas, but if your strategies are not what I am looking for, then I have wasted my money. Is there any chance you would give me a list of the strategies contained in the packet? I like the details in your posters I have seen!
Thank you for your suggestion. I added the strategies to the description. They are amazing posters that are ideal for teaching reasoning strategies. They are also the perfect companion to number talks.

Buyer re: Math Strategies Posters
I am really interested in purchasing this product, however the thumbnail gives very little detail about the content on the posters. Could you possiblely add a few individual poster thumbnails so we can see the details of your posters?
Thank you for your suggestion. I will upload a couple right now.

5th_is_Fab (TpT Seller) re: Number Talks for Middle School
This is just what I was looking for... I noticed this was for quarter 1... will there be a quarter two. I am doing number talks right now with my 5th grade class and I noticed some of the strategies I am teaching are missing... do you think you will ever add them all or could you??? I would totally pay for them. I have the problems from the book... I would really be interested posters that I could print out for my wall and for my kids journals as a resource for them... just a though :)
My intent is to put together a quarter two number talks packet. I was going to add several more reasoning strategies, but, thought I would overwhelm students and teachers so I stuck to four strategies. Which strategies would you like added?
