This is my eighth year of teaching. After 7 years in 5th grade, I am now the technology specialist at my school teaching all grade levels. I have my technology endorsement and am eMINTS certified. I spent 3 years in the Teachers of American History grant program, have been a presenter at my district's summer literacy institute, and taught a class at the Utah Coalition of Educational Technology conference. Blogging is my hobby and you can find me at www.whattheteacherwants.blogspot.com, I love creating resources for other teachers to use. I have been a seller on TPT for over two years and have loved the new challenge that it brings.
I like to have fun with my students. I teach using hands-on, inquiry based lessons. I prefer collaborative learning and love integrating technology as much as possible.
Teacher of the Year for my school in 2009. Served as my grade level PLC leader for 6 years. Named "Rookie of the Year" during my first year of teaching.
BS in elementary ed with a social studies composite minor. Technology endorsement.
