I'm a first year teacher and when moving into my classroom I came across all these "Soar to Success" books that no one was really using anymore. I decided to try incorporate them into some guided reading centers but I wasn't sure what to put with them when I came across your creative work! Thank you so much, it is helping me head in the right direction and saving me so much time!

Hello Nicole I'm sorry to bother you again. I wrote you about a week a go regarding your wordwalls. My AOL has not been working very well and I'm not getting all my emails. So I wanted to touch base with you again regarding my request if it is at all possible. I teach Pre-K and your wordwalls are the most beautiful I have ever seen. I wanted to know if you could make a bundle with just the coordinating wordwalls. If I could use the books believe me I would of bought this unit last week without hesitation. When I ask my kids to tell me what kind of a person the character was--they can only say "nice" or "not nice" They don't have character trait vocab. They need to know words like compassionate, considerate, competitive, athletic, etc. There are lots of lists of character traits, but I have to build that vocabulary in my kids. Do a ppt like 100 vocab words, only do words that would describe characters in a story. Look at lists of character traits for ideas of words to include.

TEACHING EXPERIENCE
I've taught kindergarten for 3 years, Title I reading (K-5) for 2 years, and am now teaching 1st grade. I've nannied, tutored, babysat, worked as a camp counselor, and everything in between! As long as I can remember, I've worked with children and loved it!
